Role Purpose Statement

• To execute trade operations - ensuring all shipments, customs/compliance requirements are met by closely coordinating and collaborating with shipping, legal, and other related stakeholders

Main Accountabilities

• Experience in domestic purchase and sale operations, with a clear understanding of cargo inward and outward processes. Strong knowledge of documentation needed for domestic purchase and sale.
• Skill in handling delivery orders, understanding payment processes, document requirements, and calculating carry charges. Ability to check customer ledgers and perform account reconciliations effectively.
• Good understanding of contractual terms related to purchase and sale agreements.
• Experience in preparing and calculating debit notes and credit notes.
• Familiar with export/import documentation, pre-shipment processes, checklists, and shipment document lodgment.
• Handling post-shipment cargo shortages and coordinated quality segregation processes for domestic and import shipments.  Document checklists for insurance purposes and ensure compliance with claim requirements for both domestic and import cargo.
• Ensure accurate documentation for quality claims and insurance settlement for imported goods.
• Communication with relevant parties is maintained to resolve cargo discrepancies and shortages in import shipments.

• Improve Bunge's outcomes by making data-driven decisions, keeping the customer at the forefront of all they do, and proactively gaining insight into the global strategy.
• Collaborate, effectively communicate with others and take initiative to continually develop themselves.
• Pursue opportunities to solve problems and take action while maintaining the ability to manage work, even in times of challenge or change.
• MS Excel: Advanced use of pivot tables, formulas, shortcuts and data analysis for trade and   stock management.
• MS Word & Outlook
• ERP or Trade Systems - should be familiar with commodity trade execution platforms (if applicable).
• Data Management: Accurate entry, reconciliation, and reporting of stock and trade data.

Education & Experience

• Graduation
• 7 years of experience in commodity execution/supply chain & cotton quality
• Experience in import and export handling, including documentation, compliance preferred.
