Laborer-Sanitation

A Day in the Life:

Laborer within the sanitation team will clean the production area and equipment, as well as any common areas.  

Position Details:

Shift schedule:7:00 am to 3 pm. $23.71 per hour

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime, is often necessary to meet production demands.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Cleaning of mill equipment, buildings and surrounding areas including offices, lunchroom, rest rooms, locker rooms, roofs, empty bins and other areas as directed by supervisor.
• Pick up product spills 
• Clean up all work areas, follow directions and perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Report any infestation and/or contamination to ensure Bunge produces and ships a quality product.
• Must report all accidents and near misses to create a safer work environment at Bunge.
• Must perform safety and sanitation audits with supervisor as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior experience within a food manufacturing environment, preferred
• Able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime when needed.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Need to be safety conscious.
• The ability to collaborate effectively within a team is crucial for smooth operations and maintaining production efficiency.
• Work can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to work in hot or cold environments
• Able to use a brush vacuum hose, broom, shovel and scraper on a regular basis.
• Some work may require use of ladders and working inside confined spaces.
