Overview Bunge Data Governance Program Overview:

Bunge is establishing a Data Governance program that will be the custodian of the processes, policies, rules and standards by which the Company will define its most critical data.

Enabling this program will:

• Define ownership and accountability of our critical data assets to ensure they are effectively managed and maintain integrity throughout Bunge’s systems
• Leverage data as a strategic enterprise asset enabling data-based decision analytics
• Improve productivity and efficiency of daily business operations

Position Overview:

The Data Governance Functional Lead is responsible for working with Bunge functions to implement, enhance, maintain, and support a global data governance platform across Bunge. This role requires deep knowledge of one of the Business Functions like Finance, Procurement, HR, Master Data for operationalization of an Collibra Data Governance platform.

This role will be deployed to work with the Global DG lead to support various programs, projects, and sectors within Bunge to ensure data related requirements are in adherence to the global data governance policies set forth by the Global Data Governance team.

This role will support the global data governance team to operationalize and provide solutions for deployment of a global technology platform to manage and govern Bunge core data as per established global standards. The Analyst will work closely with Global Data Governance Lead to ensure any technical solution related support is available as large programs with focus on data are being rolled out and tracked as per the program charter established along with meeting core business objectives.

Responsibilities

Primary Accountabilities:

• Work with Business Functions to identify Critical Data Elements and provide the Business definitions.
• Manage the Business Terms and Glossary related efforts related to expansion of Data Governance Platform.
• Conduct informational training sessions to walkthrough core use cases covered by the applications.
• Create functional use cases on the platform, Metadata classification standards for the application, dashboard view standards, data governance process coverage standards.
• Communicate regularly with program teams and business stewards to make necessary design reviews on the platform as needed.

Enterprise Data Governance Operations and Advisory:

• Ensure alignment of the data governance program and standards with applicable enterprise, business segment, and local data support models.
• Support the maintenance of enterprise-level data standards in the platform along with a repository of key elements pertaining to their in-scope data domain (e.g Finance) and promoting their use throughout the Bunge organization.
• Advise on various projects and initiatives to ensure that any data related changes and dependencies are identified, communicated and managed to ensure adherence with the Enterprise Data Governance established standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working as a Functional Lead/ Technical Data Steward in one of the above domains
• Functional understanding of Collibra Data Governance Platform
• Strong techno- functional background who understands data lifecycle management, governance.
• Knowledge of SAP Data Domains in CPG Industry
• Understanding of legal risk and data quality remediation efforts in improving enterprise data assets
• Ability to partner with a multi-tiered and matrixed organization model to support complex data programs.
• Ability to understand and design platform rollouts for data governance operationalization
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical use cases and requirements.
• Ability to think beyond the current state (processes, roles and tools) and work towards an unconstrained, optimized design
• Able to align various stakeholders to a common set of standards and the ability to sell the benefits of the EDG program
• Self-starter who welcomes responsibility, along with the ability to thrive in an evolving organization and an ability to bring structure to unstructured situations
• Matrix management skills and business acumen
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
