Role Purpose Statement (Write a brief statement regarding the objective of the position and why it exists):

The role requires a experienced SAP applications expert skilled in the functionality and configuration of SAP SD modules to support SAP landscape globally

 

Main Accountabilities (List 6-8 major areas of responsibilities in order of importance, and purpose of these activities:

    Provide SAP functional expertise for SAP solutions supporting SD areas. This also includes financial integration with “Order to Cash processes.
    Responsible as a SD module team member to support currently implemented SAP solutions for Europe region. 
    Must have expertise in below areas of SAP SD.
o    Billing & Invoicing
o    Idoc/EDI knowledge
o    Delivery process
o    Order management
o    Pricing
o    Interface knowledge
o    Shipping process
    Provide functional support to implemented systems and users in the above areas either locally or remotely in a regional support role. 
    Assist in the evaluation, definition, design and approval of SAP modifications and enhancements in SD areas.
    Support in document, testing, implementation and training of new SAP enhancements, upgrades/releases etc for the areas above. 
    Provide end-user training including creation/maintenance of training material, conducting training sessions for any new enhancement or change in process. 
    Responsible to close out defects on solutions designed including analysis, design and documentation of the functional design specifications, test plans and scenarios and coordination of the resolution until defects are closed
    Assist in the implementation of related Business Applications from SAP SME perspective. 
    Provide support for SAP integration to other business applications, web/mobility solutions etc.
    Deep understanding of OTC flows. 
    Functional expertise on SD-Pricing and Billing.

•    Role incumbent is expected to manage a team of 3 members across SAP Logistics and Supply Chain

•    Role is expected to have savings of $ 45-60 per hour


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (Measurable outcomes that the position contributes to):
•    Managing 40+ SAP Logistics tickets per month from Operations support perspective
•    CSAT% should be greater than 95%

 

Major Opportunities and Decisions (Describe the more difficult and/or complex challenges or opportunities and decisions faced in doing work, improving processes or meeting customer needs.  Where must position focus to be successful?):

•    SAP logistics are quite complex in nature to resolve
•    Multiple integration points with 3rd party systems and stakeholders

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in general and strong facilitation and presentation experience skills specifically.
    Strong interpersonal skills
    Strong interest to develop business process knowledge to better support the users
    Very detail-Oriented person with superior Problem-solving ability.
    Prefer someone who has performed in a senior role and in more than one implementation. Seeking a “go-to” person that has the experience to solve tough problems.
    Ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
    Experience in rolling out global SAP templates

•    Key Relationships, Stakeholders & Interfaces (External & Internal): Business Stakeholders, BBS Team, Global and Mohali IT Leads and Team members


Knowledge and Technical Competencies (Identify knowledge and specific technical competencies to accomplish the desired end results.  Some examples are licenses & certifications and knowledge and abilities):
    Experience in SAP Design and Implementation on SD Modules.  Experience required on the following sub-modules: 
o    Advanced knowledge of Order to Cash processes. 
o    Advance knowledge on SD-Pricing and Billing.
o    Knowledge of integration points with other modules such as FI-CO, MM, QM, and PP/PS.
o    Strong Knowledge on Inventory Goods movement integration.
o    Advance knowledge on account Determination Integration of SD with SAP FI.  
    Must be able to scope and create BPPs (Business Process Procedures) and PDDs (Process Definition Document).  These are the necessary documents delivered in Configuration.
    Must be able to scope, review, and create functional specifications and assist the development team in writing the technical specifications for SD “RICEF” (i.e. Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancement and Forms).
    Comfortable in defending SAP solutions with peers forming an SAP governance council
    ABAP debugging skills is a plus. 
    Experience in rolling out global SAP template thru Asia Pacific

 

Education/Experience (Identify types and length of education and experience needed to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to accomplish the desired end results.  Some examples are education & training, and years of experience):

    B-Tech – IT - 8 - 10 years of experience in SAP Design and Implementation on SD Modules.  Experience required on the following sub-modules:
