Process Executive - Trade Execution

Role Purpose Statement:       

Freight Accrual process is method of calculating and tracking the shipment cost, whose bill is yet not generated. This is the way of keeping the territory regulations of Mexico where the Third party is paying the actual freight at borders which is later on claimed and settled. As well as it helps in keeping the record of all the shipments whose accrual is yet to be paid.

Perform Invoice management, Freight Accruals, SAP ticketing, Bunge Sales personnel, Product Management, as requested. This is an Individual contributor role with an added responsibility of generating shipping cost, validating P&L for Freight Accruals and Auditor quotes.

The key objective for the role is to ensure best in class operational delivery to the business, perform internal customer liaising and support transformation initiatives to create a best-in-class processes; improve efficiencies; reduce costs & drive customer centricity.

The role will work very closely with Bunge Business teams, BBS Centers; Global Functional Leads; Global Process Owners, BBS Transformation team and Delivery Leads to deliver objectives.

Main Accountabilities :

• Perform total Freight Accrual, including Invoicing, Ticket Creation within preset margin goals, Shipment Planning, System Entry in SAP in a timely manner.

• Generating Shipment cost in the system for final cost management by the Accounts’ team.

• Complete understanding of Shipment policy and procedures related to Freight Accruals, Ticket entry, approval process, etc.

• Manage Invoice Reversals in the system, liaison with onshore team.

• P&L validation process for Freight Accruals & Auditor quotes.

• Run and monitor the daily Invoices and P&L report to find input errors or data gaps that may be affecting Freight Accrual pricing. Reach out to appropriate parties to resolve all reversals accordingly.

• Understand Bunge North America / Bunge Milling Molinos supply chain and operational objectives in relation to sales forecast and capacity constraints.

• Work with the team to provide Total Quality Service to our customers, sales and customer service team and plant. 

• Understanding of Settlement process for final goal of the Accrual activities

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Knowledge & Education/Background

• 1  – 3 years of work experience in a similar role preferably in Agribusiness / Commodity trading industry.

• Minimum Education Qualification – Bachelors’ in Commerce, IB or equivalent degree.

• Previous Customer Service experience with the ability to build and maintain Customer Relationships, previous sales experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with Shipping Fundamentals, Shipping Cost Management, Freight Management, Supply Management, SAP.
