Role Purpose Statement:
The Scrum Master will be a part of the BBS Analytics team & will work on development and support of Bunge Business Services (BBS) Command Center and Analytics products
Key Interfaces:
Internal: Global Governance Lead, BBS Analytics Team, Bunge Business Intelligence Team, Global Process Owners, Global
Transformation Lead and Service Management Leads
External: Consultants if any working on the projects
Key Performance Indicators:
Effective execution of BBS analytics priorities
Main Accountabilities
• As Scrum master you will be the guardian of the BBS analytics scrum team that develops analytics products on tableau
• You will have influence over all scrum processes including coaching the scrum team and the broader stakeholder groups about agile scrum
• You will facilitate all the scrum ceremonies, keep the team on track, plan and lead meetings, and ensure the team is operating as effectively as possible with Scrum values
• Implement scrum practices to ensure clear acceptance criteria, definition of done, effort estimation, prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
• Implement the product backlog in consultation with product owner/manager, making sure that deliverables are on time with production quality
• Be actively involved in technical matters thus finding out the gaps and ensuring product owner involvement in business decision and description of the functional flow
• Escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness; collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
• Be involved in team conflict resolution and must have excellent communication skills.
• Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it.
• Develop dashboards on Jira, and project update presentations as needed to enable monitoring and control of sprints across various scrum projects
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
• Strong Scrum Master experience and capability
o 8+ years of IT Industry experience in a matrixed management environment (e.g., product development, project
management, implementation)
o 4+ years of Practicing Scrum Master for globally distributed technical teams and managing across time zones
o SDLC and DevOps process knowledge, Work breakdown & sizing methodologies
o Agile based requirements management, testing, release management - process & tools
o Accredited Scrum Master Certification
o Demonstrated strong facilitation skills in leading technical teams with platform and cross-team dependencies
o Demonstrated experience in understanding team dynamics and building alignment in resolving issues
o Excellent situational awareness and an ability to remain calm under pressure and be cognizant of how you are perceived
• Significant experience driving large projects to successful completion, and ability to work in a global environment
o Agile Project management experience, or multi-functional team experience
o Ability to drive discussion and establish clarity on requirements and deliverables
o Quick to identify and communicate risks and develop mitigation plans
o Knowledge and hands-on experience of managing scrum projects using Jira
• Strong communications and presentation skills
o Must have demonstrated strong communication skills with global teams across written, verbal and presentation formats to a
variety of audiences from engineer to Senior management
o Ability to make complex and detailed information clear and actionable
