How your next role looks like:

• Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of statutory accounts and other relevant financial reporting requirements;
• Supervise performance of RTR, OTC, PTP and Middle-Office processes as driven by Bunge Business Services and act as main point of contact with our Shared Service Center;
• Ensure all financial reporting is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP, IFRS, local GAAP, where applicable) and in compliance with all internal regulations and policies;
• Ensure the presence and functioning of internal controls over financial reporting (SOX);
• Coordinate the annual audit cycle and SOX management testing, monitor remediation of financial reporting issues, control deficiencies and Management Action Plans;
• Ensure a robust control environment to be in place, while championing the continuing enhancement of internal controls and compliance with laws, regulations, and Bunge policies;
• Support Tax  in all matters;
• Support financial analysis and project initiatives as well as liase with external auditors and authorities when necessary.

What do we expect from our colleague?

• “Regisztrált Mérlegképeskönyvelő” mandatory;
• Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Administration or equivalent financial qualification;
• +7 years in progressive roles in accounting and/or controlling, out of which 3-5 years in managing teams; experience in agricultural commodity or food business preferred;
• Fluent in English and Hungarian, Romanian skills will be a plus;
• Strong technical expertise and experience with US GAAP and SOX and familiar with US Security and Exchange Commission rules and  regulations;
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently; proactive approach towards problems and issues;
• Knowledge of SAP (at a minimum FICO), experienced in ERP implementation or other IT change management projects preferred;
• International work experience in a complex structure represents an advantage.
