We are currently seeking an enthusiastic person to join our agricultural team as a Grain Laboratory and Sampler Team Lead at the Port of Bunbury.

In this role you will be responsible for managing the storage, quality and distribution of grain within Bunge storage and handling system.

As part of this team, your duties will include:

  • Spearing and sampling incoming grain trucks in line with our receival standards
  • Grain quality assessment
  • Data entry for grain inventory and quality assessments
  • Troubleshoot and address adhoc issues related to grain intake and outturns
  • Assist in training and supervising staff
  • Liaising with truck drivers
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a leadership role that can demonstrate successful team management.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Science or Laboratory field 
  • Current drivers licence
  • Experience in grain handling and testing
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Strong organizational abilities with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines 

Applicants must reside, or be willing to relocate, to a reasonable commuting distance of the Port of Bunbury.
