Perform general laborer duties to maintain clean plant area. Provide routine lubrication and maintenance of plant equipment. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Shovel and sweep product to maintain clean plant area.
  • Operate hand tools, forklift, bobcat, backhoe and other mobile equipment.
  • Climb steps/ladders, work in high places and confined spaces.
  • Work outdoors and in all types of weather.
  • Provide routine lubrication and maintenance of plant equipment.
  • Work safely and communicate effectively.
  • Must be willing to train to advance into different job classifications.
  • Additional Duties assigned by manager

 

Education: 
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

 

Experience:
Mechanical background with prior experience in a plant or similar environment helpful.  Related experience preferred.

 

Competencies/Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong work ethic, dependability and a high level of dedication to safety.
  • Work primarily in a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Work rotating shifts and weekends.
