Labor Utility

Role Purpose Statement:

Perform general laborer duties to maintain clean plant area. Provide routine lubrication and maintenance of plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shovel and sweep product to maintain clean plant area.
• Perform routine lubrication and maintenance of plant equipment
• Operate hand tools, forklift, bobcat, and other mobile equipment.
• Climb steps/ladders, work in high places and confined spaces.
• Work outdoors and in all types of weather.
• Work safely and communicate effectively.
• Ability to record and report data accuratley. 
• Must be willing to train to advance into different job classifications.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Mechanical background with prior experience in an industrial or similar environment, helpful.  Related experience preferred.

Competencies/Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong work ethic, dependability and a high level of dedication to safety.
• Work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Computer skills a plus.  Word, Excel, SAP
