Position Summary:

The  Global Customers / Key accounts finance business partner, works closely with the VP Global customers, Commercial Excellence and Marketing BLC and with the Global Customer Directors, will serve as the finance link, leading performance, metrics development, tracking systems and profitability analysis for Key Accounts and their associated business growth opportunities.


Core Functions:

  • Lead the refinement of the Performance Management Dashboards and Global Customer Performance Dashboard, or other BI tools to automate manual work.
  • Own all Global Customers reporting deliverables, including monthly, quarterly and yearly. Produce variance reporting Vs Budget, Strategic Plan, and prior periods.
  • Define KPI’s and metrics; implement and keep track. Find improvement areas and propose initiatives to adjust.
  • Annual budget process: map, define owners, resources needed, timeline, document process, prepare templates, train users, connect with the value chains business budget process needs, consolidate, track and report.
  • Create ad-hoc reports as needed by the Global Customer team and other global workstreams or teams (e.g. growth platforms as Plant Based, global products as CBEs, Regional accounts), as well as upper management when needed.
  • Lead annual sales target process for Global workflows/platforms in collaboration with Global Customer and Regional Customer Leads (to be used for incentives metrics).
  • Support the coordination of the Global tender process, supporting the Global Customers Leads on the preparation of the negotiation strategies with business analysis, including financial modeling, pricing, and cost analysis.


Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • BS in Finance or related degree, Masters in Business/Finance preferred
  • 5+ years in financial planning role, e.g., FP&A, Market Intelligence, ideally in the food and ingredients space
  • Experience with accounting and financial systems (i.e. database management, tableau/BI, excel)
  • SAP knowledge a plus
  • Ability to work independently, maintain objectivity and deliver results
  • Strong communication/presentation skills; ability to articulate complex matters/issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Solid knowledge of F&I financial performance analysis tools and techniques
  • Ability to think creatively and identify/explore alternatives
  • Ability to drive to conclusions and recommend actions
  • Ability to think at both strategic and operational levels
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Strong influence management skills
