Position Summary:
This role supports the Financial Planning And Performance Management team to drive performance optimization for the Agri external reporting segment, including support of the monthly performance cycle and analysis, forecast cycle, portfolio reviews, and post implementation reviews. This role will own and complete a main project, contribute to ongoing team projects, and assist with daily tasks. This role will support the analysis of financial and operational results to inform and assist in the preparation of the quarterly earnings press release. The role will assist with the department’s mandate to oversee governance, reporting, and tracking for external and internal KPIs and metrics.
Core Functions & Responsibilities:
- Learn about Bunge’s core businesses
- Practice and improve critical thinking and analysis skills
- Prepare, update or review portfolio analysis for businesses inside the assigned reporting segment
- Participate in Post Implementation Review
- Performance Management Governance
- Assist in the tracking of internal and external reporting metrics and KPIs including, coordinating, building, and maintaining reporting hierarchies to align with an evolving organization structure and service delivery model.
- Support monthly / quarterly reporting and forecast analysis cycles
- Analyze financial estimates and assumptions submitted by value chain and business units and test and challenge the data provided to improve the quality of the final submission and that messaged are aligned across the external reporting segment
- Liaise with the Global FP&A Capital Investments, and Operational Expense Management teams, coordinating FP&A deliverables and alignment
- Improve the performance management process, streamlining materials and tools and to improve and streamline the deliverables and enhance the quality of the data
- Coordinate with Value Chain and Business Unit Finance Leads on key forecast drivers and submission requirements
- Support continuous improvement projects
- Complete assigned main project
- Begin building a professional network within Bunge.
Skill/Experience Requirements:
- Microsoft Office Proficiency
- Ability to work independently, maintain objectivity, and deliver results
- Basic understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Ability to think creatively and identify / explore alternatives
