Position Summary:
Actively support Bunge’s efforts to profitably grow with major regional chains and distribution customers in the assigned region by working closely with the regional team to provide ongoing day to day account support including making sales calls.

 

This is an entry level sales position.  Ideal candidate should have the desire and ability to relocate for future outside sales roles.

 

Core Functions:

  • Be a catalyst for the change required to meet Bunge’s strategic objectives in the broadline foodservice and bakery distribution markets
  • Work as an integral member of the regional team by providing routine and ad-hoc support to the Regional Sales Director
  • Work closely with regional sales team, customer service, and product management to manage and expedite day to day routine customer facing activities including price quotations, contract management, sample coordination, and new product requests
  • Coordinate and support the team inputs into salesforce.com and forecasting / integrated business planning (IBP)
  • Work closely with customer service in problem solving service issues
  • Drive customer focus by being the voice of the customer within the broader Bunge organization

 

 Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred or equivalent work experience required
  • 2+ years of customer facing experience
  • 2+ years of foodservice industry experience preferred 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
  • Proficiency in SAP, Tableau, SalesForce.com or similar systems preferred
  • Ability to travel approximately 5% of the time
