Manager Fleet Maintenance

Position Overview:

Responsible for overseeing the maintenance management on Bunge’s railcar fleet for both Canada and US.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee maintenance management of Bunge’s railcar fleet for both Canada and US.
• Manage and maintain all Railtrac records as it relates to assigning cars to different business groups and maintenance record documentation.
• Submit monthly reporting to accounting department on plant allocation for repair estimate accruals
• Provide annual budget reporting on railcar maintenance costs by division to Accounting.
• Audit & Maintain accuracy of Kosher Certification with Orthodox Union for both US & Canada 
• Audit & Maintain accuracy of Loading Authority applications for Bunge railcars 
• Support third party contractors in management of Bunge’s bank financed lease of railcars
• Support logistic analyst position that provide support in the maintenance of BNA’s US railcar fleet.
• Other duties as assigned

Skill/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in transportation or logistics
• 5 or more years of experience with the maintenance or fleet management of a private rail car fleet
• Ability to set goals, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and conflicting objectives
• Proven ability to work independently with little supervision
• Demonstrate high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Effective communication skills
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills required
