Position Overview:
Responsible for overseeing the maintenance management on Bunge’s railcar fleet for both Canada and US.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee maintenance management of Bunge’s railcar fleet for both Canada and US.
- Manage and maintain all Railtrac records as it relates to assigning cars to different business groups and maintenance record documentation.
- Submit monthly reporting to accounting department on plant allocation for repair estimate accruals
- Provide annual budget reporting on railcar maintenance costs by division to Accounting.
- Audit & Maintain accuracy of Kosher Certification with Orthodox Union for both US & Canada
- Audit & Maintain accuracy of Loading Authority applications for Bunge railcars
- Support third party contractors in management of Bunge’s bank financed lease of railcars
- Support logistic analyst position that provide support in the maintenance of BNA’s US railcar fleet.
- Other duties as assigned
Skill/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in transportation or logistics
- 5 or more years of experience with the maintenance or fleet management of a private rail car fleet
- Ability to set goals, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and conflicting objectives
- Proven ability to work independently with little supervision
- Demonstrate high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Effective communication skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills required
