Position Overview: 
The Marketing Manager, Events & Communications, will help Bunge Loders Croklaan deliver results against the following objectives: develop & execute value propositions into relevant and engaging customer events (in-person & online), integrated media & communication platforms to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation and thought leadership for our North America business. The candidate will support the digital marketing strategy, social media, public relations, advertising (online & traditional) and developing, in coordination with Channel Marketing Leads, Communications Lead and Global Communications, the development of content and assets necessary to influence the purchase funnel.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Lead & execute the all corporate events (trade shows, in-person & online) from conception to completion including program analysis & reporting   
  • Support development and execute of communication strategy as per Senior Marketing Manager Communications 
  • Support digital, social media, and print communications execution, reporting and tracking with input from Channel Marketing leads (Food Service, Ingredients & new product launches) 
  • Manage marketing automation lead process from corporate website and create/modify campaigns to develop “sales ready” leads 
  • Create, post, analyze, optimize & test website content via our CMS (Sitecore) for our Food Service & Ingredients product offerings  
  • Measure communication program effectiveness and develop specific strategies and initiatives to improve outcomes
  • Lead the development of category sales collateral, application guides and training materials 
  • Articulate product/portfolio offerings, key benefits and messages for funnel engagement for customer facing content & sales tools   

 

Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience marketing major brands/categories (experience in the food industry desired but not required) 
  • Proficiency with: Salesforce Lightning CRM, Pardot Marketing Automation (or equivalent), MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) Tableau, Google Analytics, Google Trends, Cvent, Highspot (or equivalent) Moz (or equivalent), Sitecore (or equivalent) 
  • Required: B2B Marketing, Event Management & Digital Marketing experience
  • Experience in managing & collaborating with external agencies, event vendors & internal stakeholders  
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent copy writing & copy editing skills 
  • Strong project management skills – ability to manage projects from start to finish with minimal oversight 
  • Self-starter who is detail oriented that thrives in a self-directed work environment

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business
