Position Summary:

The Product Marketing Intern will work to ensure a complete and orderly transition of all product labels and packaging from their legacy state to comply with the latest government regulations. The candidate is responsible for ensuring a smooth transition to the new labeling standards of approximately 900 products by the end of 2019.

 

Core Functions:

  • Coordinate with the Product Managers from concept to commercialization of Bunge and customer Private Label products for compliance and approved design/layout requirements.  Coordinating with customers and design firms to ensure timely completion and sign off on all products.
  • Coordinate the timely and accurate compiling of all information for product ingredient statements, nutritional profiles, trademarks and bioengineering information to be displayed on ne or modified product labels with Bunge approved and customer designated firms
  • Proofing of all new designs to ensure they meet the new specifications
  • Update various Bunge databases to ensure that the information on new labels is aligned with key operating systems such as Bill of Materials.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of finished labels to our production facilities and minimize the exit cost on existing label inventories

 

 

Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 0-3 years of experience in marketing or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.  SAP experience an asset
  • Experience in working in a business enterprise with multiple interactions between technical, sales and operations personnel
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to communicate ideas via written media, telephone and personal contact
