Position Summary:

Develop and maintain solid business relationships with key leaders, ultimately assuming role of trusted advisor.  Develop sound recommendations through subject matter expertise, insightful analysis of situations and data and full consideration of all stakeholder and business impacts.   Communicate perspectives, pushing back when appropriate, and ensure risks/rewards are understood when analyzing potential outcomes.

 

This role will support leaders in the Finance organization.  The Human Resources Business Partner will collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise (CoE), HRBPs in other countries/locations, Bunge Business Services, Legal and Communications.

 

Core Functions:

  • Provide leaders with the full range of Human Resources services including, but not limited to, selection, performance management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, workforce planning and succession management.
  • Engage in workforce planning, maintaining an awareness of workforce demographics, bench strength and operational requirements.  Develop strategies to address workforce gaps and surpluses and proactively work to optimize talent.
  • Partner with business leaders to assess organizational design.  Provide guidance on organization structure, opportunities to re-engineer roles and responsibilities, and workforce needs.
  • Lead talent management activities in partnership with business leaders.   Guide performance management program, provide coaching/counseling on individual development plans and career development, and facilitate the succession planning process. 
  • Maintain a pulse on the organization, understanding employee concerns, motivations and level of engagement.  Develop and implement strategies to address employee concerns and cultivate a positive work environment.
  • Thoroughly understand Bunge policies and procedures, developing and implementing broad policies and programs in collaboration with Centers of Expertise and business stakeholders.
  • At the direction of Legal and senior HR management, conduct investigations related to policy violations, misconduct, or other circumstances that may result in disciplinary action.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field
  • Master’s degree in business, organizational behavior, HR management or related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of position related functional management experience, or equivalent combo of education and experience level  and desired minimum 2 years supporting Business leaders
  • Proven solid experience (5-10 years) of operating in a business partner model, working with local and global managers to create positive business outcomes; 
  • Provide leadership, instruction and direction to individual contributors from their team
  • Support Business Leader on the development and execution of HR strategies to achieve key Business objectives in area of responsibility
  • Use knowledge of Bunge’s business, structure and strategy to develop innovative solutions to improve results or eliminate problems
  • Build partnerships, appropriately influence to gain commitment, foster talent and coach others to grow in current or future roles.
  • Drive results through high standards, focus on key priorities, organization, and preparing others for change.
