The Compensation Consultant will assist in the development, analysis, execution and communication of broad-based compensation programs such as base pay, short-term incentives, job evaluations, market reviews and salary survey participation.  In this role, you will partner with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition professionals leading the research and analysis of compensation programs designed to attract, retain and motivate employees.

 

Main Accountabilities:
•    Ensure compliance, implementation and administration of compensation policies and practices.
•    Provide complex analysis and data modeling support on regional compensation core processes, projects and initiatives.
•    Design, build and maintain regional compensation reports to streamline program administration and to assist stakeholders with compensation decision making.
•    Build and maintain collaborative relationships with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and cross-functional partners to meet deliverables providing guidance and recommendations on compensation data and practices.
•    Act as the subject matter expert in compensation areas such as job evaluation, benchmarking, market reviews, and compensation systems.
•    Collaborate with our Shared Services Team to improve compensation related processes, data cleanliness and data governance; proactively look for ways to enhance the compensation system processes.
•    Participate and support annual compensation processes and initiatives.
•    Participate in compensations surveys, conduct benchmarking and best practices analyses, and develop recommendations.
    
Impact/Dimensions:
This role is an individual contributor role supporting the North America region with compensation requests, analyses, and implementation.  This role will serve as the MarketPay subject matter expert in developing market data analyses and reporting.

•    Successful development and implementation of regional pay structures
•    Successful implementation and communication of regional job leveling projects
•    Successful development of MarketPay analyses and reporting
•    Successful development of Labor analyses and resources

 

Major Opportunities and Decisions:
The Senior Compensation Analyst will focus on developing and implementing regional compensation deliverables to meet business needs in attracting and retaining employees.  Understand current analytics and reporting to develop more efficient models to present to stakeholders.

Key Relationships, Stakeholders & Interfaces:
•    Build and develop collaborative relationships with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition partners and Finance partners
•    Partner with Global and Regional Total Rewards CoE team members
•    Partner with PayScale and compensation survey vendors
•    Must have strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex analytics into non-technical terms for stakeholders

 

Knowledge and Technical Competencies:
•    Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is preferred
•    Knowledge of HCM and compensation systems.  Experience with SuccessFactors and MarketPay are a plus
•    Thorough understanding of the various elements and principles of Compensation
•    Strong analytical and project management skills
•    Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills
•    Demonstrated attention to detail
•    Advanced proficiency in Excel utilizing advanced features such as macros, pivot tables, formulas, etc.
•    Working knowledge of other MS Office software
•    Knowledgeable with legal requirements, labor laws and regulations
•    Able to work in a high-paced environment with deadline driven activity.

 

Education/Experience Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field
•    5 or more years of progressive experience in Compensation, HR, Data Analytics or related field
