Bunge North America, Inc. seeks a full-time Senior IT Analyst in Chesterfield, MO to provide support to manufacturing and quality assurance across all Bunge operational areas, including Milling and Oilseed Processing and Packaging at U.S., Mexico, and Canada facilities.  Duties include: overseeing the document control system; managing access and providing training for employees; configuring and administering software used by our internal business clients; generating reports for customers as part of our continuous improvement program; implementing laboratory and quality control solutions at Bunge facilities; supporting manufacturing operations and logistics; investigating, designing, implementing, and maintaining additional features including changes in workflows; performing research, developing, analyzing, testing, training, and implementing software platforms used to give Bunge a strategic advantage in tracking barge movement; interacting with enterprise systems such as SAP and performing basic troubleshooting for various issues faced by internal employees while using the systems and applications; assisting the IT administrator to upgrade systems and programs according to the organization’s requirements; performing security setup for new users and conducting periodical assessments to check the functioning of systems/applications and solicit feedback from users; utilizing current applications and understanding how they relate to each other and to SAP/data warehouse; researching and developing process for new applications, hardware, or associated devices; understanding commodity logistics operations (barge loading, unloading, logistics, accounting, trading, and the interrelationships between them); and testing compatibility of third party applications with the systems and hardware installed in Bunge facilities.

 

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field and 3 years of experience as an IT Analyst, Computer Systems Analyst, or in a related occupation to include 3 years of experience with application development cycle (identifying issues/requirements with customers, proposed solutions, preliminary designs/prototypes, Alpha testing, revisions, Beta testing, distribution and training); testing compatibility of third party applications with systems and hardware; assisting with upgrading systems and programs; performing security setup for new users; and performing research, developing, analyzing, testing, training, and implementing software platforms.
