Position Summary:

The Sustainability Execution Analyst will support the formal sustainability program activities related to execution and compliance within the North America region.  This role will oversee distribution of sustainability program documents to customers, timely and accurate day-to-day sustainability execution to ensure compliance and manage requirements to maintain various certification schemes.  As the region’s liaison for sustainability execution support, building collaborative working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers will provide continuity for the global sustainability program.  

 

Core Functions:

•    Regional sustainability execution subject matter expert for sustainability certification schemes to support current program requirements and future certification accreditation, including of 2BSvs, ISCC and related programs. 
•    Track progress against milestone delivery of the sustainability execution roadmap.
•    Stay abreast of trends and legislative changes to formal sustainability programs to understand and advise of business impact. 
•    Provide guidance to business stakeholders to ensure compliant and timely sustainability execution oversight.
•    Support management of internal communication in 2BSvs/ISCC matters with the relevant organizational units, field traders and global sustainability execution group and external communications with 2BSvs/ISCC suppliers. 
•    Support implementation of sustainability execution processes, procedures, and tools by embedding certification scheme requirements, as necessary.
•    Manage the quality of data input into relevant systems and be accountable for outbound allocations of sustainability data to customers within the rules of the certification system.  
•    Lead and maintain data collection for product sustainability certifications. 
•    Responsible for recording of 2BSvs/ISCC business confirmation data within the applicable partner registries. 
•    Verify and record area data and invoice data (i.e. area data table, self-declarations, chemical statements, etc.) of ISCC producers in the certification registry while issuing follow up documents, as applicable. 
•    Verify the data provided by ISCC FGP/Traders and record in the partner registry.
•    Verify ISCC supplier invoices in SAP VIM system. 
•    Provide ID number and GHG information to Logistics Coordinators for issuing sustainability declarations, record 2BSvs/ISCC sales in ISCC sales registry. 
•    Prepare and maintain documents for biofuels audit program across all regulatory platforms for documentation of audit obligations. 
•    Actively lead support preparation and conduct 2BSvs/ISCC certification audits.
•    Self-starter on audit & identification of errors on certification documents.
•    Responsible for investigating and resolution, when necessary, for value chain stakeholders’ concerns of sustainability execution responsibilities.
•    Preparation of Mass Balance closing.
•    Participation in collecting and verifying data provided for individual GHG calculation. 
•    Participation in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) projects, visit farmers and research areas. 
•    Extract data, query and reports related to sustainability certification schemes, utilizing SAP, BW or other associated systems and platforms.  
•    With a continuous improvement focus, identify and implement technology to reduce manual work and automate sustainability execution processes and procedures. 
•    Lead and implement sustainability execution business training and documentation required for maintaining various certifications.  
•    Maintain sustainability execution documents and associated support files in electronic form for all certification schemes in accordance to business protocols and recordkeeping requirements. 
•    Develop innovative methods of monitoring sustainability performance and report information and data for compliance, customers and internal business requirements. 
•    Other duties as assigned.

 

Skills/Experience Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in related field
•    Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    At least two years of experience in a related field
•    Strong process orientation business acumen
