Position Summary:
The Technical Service Representative provides internal and external customers technical service assistance regarding the proper use and performance of Bunge Oils’ product portfolio including oils, shortenings, lecithins, emulsifiers and others. 

Core Functions:
Technical Service Representative provides shortenings, oils, specialties as lecithin and emulsifiers application support to customers and the Bunge Oils’ sales organization via personal visits, telephone, and email correspondence. In conjunction with sales, the Technical Service Representative will be responsible to define the best way to support customers’ requests, identify their needs and assist them. 
The Tech Service Representative acts as a connection to One Bunge. The Technical Service Representative assists in the technical training of Bunge Oils sales force.  The Technical Service Representative is responsible for the application details of projects which have been assigned.  
•    Execute and manage BOM master data including different tools, ex SAP, Sales Force, SRM, Customer platform or any other platform or technological resource need it.  
•    Elaborate functional trials with customers, suppliers, tolling partners, to validate and ensure the performance of our products, facilities, equipment’s, food safety & Quality assurance. 
•    Improve the performance of Bunge´s operations and products from innovation projects, functional applications trials, for internal purpose and external customers.
•    Technical support to intern and extern customers with value proposal for their process’s trough line products or developments.
•    Support in BLC and tolling facilities in processes, formulations and supplies of raw material. Technical contact with Bungle Global to know portfolio and other facilities processes.
•    Tolling support for development, implementation, and production of Bunge products
•    The entire process of new products creation: Formulation, trials, characterization, implementation, new codes creation, first productions, delivery, and customer functioning.
•    Information analysis referred to this area, having knowledge about management systems (Salesforce, SAP, Tableau, etc)
•    Technical contact with suppliers for needs accord to the market.
•    Knowledge of regulatory affairs globally and locally
•    Some MKT activities like assistance to different events to promote and know products.

Skills/Experience Requirements:
•    B.S. or M.S. in Food Science or Bakery Science. 
•    Minimum of four years of experience as Tech Service Rep or equivalent.
•    Candidates must be intelligent, friendly, collaborative, and hard-working.
•    English proficiency required.
•    Proven results in high performance teams achieving common goals.
•    Ability to adapt to, work and influence a multi-cultural environment and team.
•    Domestic and International travel; estimated 35% overnight but extended stays may occur when working on product applications/industrial trials.
•    General understanding of food production processes. 
•    Proven ability to recognize/understand, properly communicate and follow up new trends in the food industry and final consumer products market.
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

•    Full-time position, typically 40 hours a week, but on occasion overtime hours may be required.
•    Willingness and ability to travel both within Mexico and to the U.S.
