Position Title: Trading Support Analyst

 

Position Description: Bunge North America, Inc. is seeking a Trading Support Analyst to be responsible for monitoring daily future orders and balancing Latin America's position in Chicago Exchange and effectively executing all related pricing and open orders on a timely manner. Daily recap of futures position accurately (internal and external). Report daily Commercial Position, input contracts and coordinate vessel application instructions. Contract input and amendments according to commercial team instructions. Coordinate vessel applications with internal and external customers and send appropriate instructions to execution team. Monitoring and management of futures, pricings, and assists traders with profit & loss (P&L) tolerances opportunities. Futures error resolution. Execution of orders done either directly with on screen trading system or vis-à-vis Bunge’s Chicago or JPMorgan’s trading floor. Communication with Bunge traders on position results. Coordinate with Finance the different credit option available for the clients and confirm the negotiated interest rate to include on vessel applications. Assists in the analysis of daily position detail as needed. Runs and distributes daily reports, such as Position Limits, Commercial Positions, Consolidated Positions, and Daily Activity. Assist as needed global risk management team with any inquire about commercial positions. Working with Accounting, making sure that all end of month activities, like closing contracts, amendments, Daily Activity Report (DAR), and futures rolls are done in time for month closing. Input Financial Risk Management (FRM) transactions to Systems Applications and Products (SAP). Participate in other related administrative tasks such as implementation of tangible improvements in the processes surrounding the Contract Desk, including reports and systems like SAP and Bunge Trading Manager Program (BTM). Cultivates relationships with colleagues and stakeholders by fostering win-win situations and working to remove barriers to collaboration. Develop a strong relationship with the traders and support the commercial teams in achieving the results by proactively escalating issues with clients on a timely manner. Partner and work closely with the commercial teams fostering a result driven organization. Leads and supports Operational Excellence efforts under the scope of the role. Proactive approach to process improvements and problem identification and resolution on a timely basis. Serve as the champion for internal controls, particularly accuracy of data within deal capture systems. Assisting Front Office and management with ad hoc queries. Continuous improvement mindset in efficiency and productivity aiming at reaching higher results for the program and geographies that is under the scope of the role. Constantly applies the available tools or look for new ones towards the sustainable improvement of established Key Performance Indicatives (KPIs). Provide oversight of office operations and occasional administrative duties, as assigned. Ensure compliance with Bunge’s policies and procedures in the course of doing business. Ensure full compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act Compliance (SOX) controls, making sure all data is properly documented throughout the year and required information is kept. Ensure Bunge is in compliance with Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) reporting and regulations. Ensure the correctly report when required to the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) in coordination with Administrator Supervisor. Telecommuting allowed for 1 day per week on Fridays.

 

Position Qualifications: This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in International Trade, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Agriculture, Linguistics or Economics, or related field and 3 years of work experience with commodities futures pricing in the Latin America agribusiness market. Additionally, a qualified applicant must have professional experience with: (1) 3 years of experience with the analysis of trading positions for agribusiness commodities products in Latin America; (2) 3 years of experience with Futures, Options and CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) compliance and regulations.; (3) 2  years of experience with SAP (System Application and Products) in order to enter contracts and futures, and manage the commercial position; (4) 2 years of experience with DTN ProphetX, a platform connected with the agriculture commodity market, to verify spreads, future levels and options; (5) 2 years of experience in placing electronic orders (CME contracts – Chicago Mercantile Exchange), using Fidessa platform; and (6) 2 years of experience with MS Excel, including pivot tables, graphs, data tables, formats and functions including VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, IFERROR, CONCATENATE and DATE.

 

Special requirement: Foreign Language Requirement - Fluency in Spanish required.
