Production Operator (Bulgur Miller)

The Production Operator is job classification Bulgur Miller is assigned to a swing shift and paid $25.98 per hour.  Health and welfare benefits begin on date of hire.

Core Functions: 

• Responsible for the proper operations of all equipment connected with the Bulgur operation excluding loading.
• Performs quality control work consisting of moisture, granulation and other tests necessary to ensure proper quality of the finished product.
• Operates equipment to maintain proper yields of finished product and maintains daily performance records.
• Keeps equipment and designated surrounding areas clean.
• Dumps additive ingredients.

Qualifications: 

• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with co-workers, customer, and leadership is required.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math for business-critical record keeping and compliance is required.
• Ability to work flexible work schedule and overtime when needed is required.
•  High School Diploma or GED, although preferred is not required.
• Need to have the capability to work in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships with other colleagues.
• Performs work in a manner that is in compliance with all policies and GMP rules. Reports any conditions that may put product quality at risk.
• Performs work in a safety conscious manner that is in compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Reports any conditions that pose a safety risk to personnel and/or property.
