The Loading Operator is job classification Loader, Super Sack and is assigned to 2nd shift and paid $25.22 per hour.  Health and welfare benefits begin on date of hire.

 

Core Functions: 

  • Fills super sacks and other bulk containers
  • Operates and is responsible for associated equipment necessary to fill and load super sacks and other bulk containers.
  • Operates fork truck to load and unload as needed.
  • Transfers products to and from Building 068 as needed.
  • Responsible for packaging/or loading the proper product from the proper bins into the proper bags or bulk vessels for all packaging lines.
  • Sets all equipment and maintains proper weights.
  • Records all data and sample products as instructed.
  • Maintains inventory of empty super sacks, liners and other supplies.
  • Will be trained and qualified as an A Packer.
  • Will be trained and qualified to perform the functions of the Shipper & Receiving Worker Job for relieving Shipper Receivers’ vacations and illnesses.
  • Conducts visual quality checks on color, weight and appearance.
  • Conducts change overs.
  • Ensures packaging material/bulk vessels meets specifications and meets Company quality standards.
  • Inspects filled container to ensure that product is packaged/loaded according to specifications.
  • Performs minor adjustments or repairs and/or clears away damaged product containers.
  • Knows and understands capabilities of equipment.
  • Responsible for keeping Building 068 clean.

Qualifications: 

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with co-workers, customer, and leadership is required.
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math for business-critical record keeping and compliance is required.
  • Education/Experience:  High School Diploma or GED, although preferred is not required.
  • Need to have the capability to work in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships with other colleagues.
  • Able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime when needed.
  • Performs work in a manner that is in compliance with all policies and GMP rules. Reports any conditions that may put product quality at risk.
  • Performs work in a safety conscious manner that is in compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Reports any conditions that pose a safety risk to personnel and/or property.
