Electrician 2nd Shift

Position Summary:

Installs, repairs and removes in an efficient manner various electrical equipment with respect to quality, safety and sanitation. 

Core Functions:

• Reads and interprets drawings, sketches and layouts.
• Performs lay-out, installs and maintains a variety of electrical equipment such as motors, lighting circuits, starters, generators, transformers, or any other electrical apparatus necessary for plant operation.
• Maintains shop cleanliness.
• Does all work pertaining to changing electrical drives.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and removes material and equipment from job site.
• Checks output on DC controllers and replaces printed circuit boards when needed.
• Checks filter timers and replaces timers when needed.
• Installs all wiring to and between electric and electronic equipment.
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned. 

Skills and Requirements:

• Education requirements (HS diploma or equivalent.  Journeyman Electrician Certification)
• Experience requirements (4 years at Journeyman Electrician)
• Hard skills (3 phase motors, 480-volt AC power systems, PLC and Instrumentation experience preferred)
• Soft skills (good communication skills, knowing all OSHA safety requirements, schematics and wiring diagrams, able to work with limited or no supervision)

This position is on 2nd shift that starts at 3:00 PM and ends at 11:00 PM.  Overtime is required including weekends.  The hourly rate of pay is $40.33 plus a 2nd shift differential of $0.60/hour.  Bunge has a competative benefits package including a defined benefit pension plan paid for by Bunge.
