Position Summary:

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the department including employee scheduling, overtime posting and reporting, SAP input, and ordering materials and supplies.

 

Core Functions:

  • Assist in managing work schedules and maintain scheduling of all overtime
  • Maintain & communicate all overtime to Managers, and Supervisors
  • Prepare each day the nightly call-in sheets for Supervisor on call
  • Coordinate deliveries within the plant
  • Gather and enter into SAP all labor for union employees
  • Document and report all union work that may be scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency in the plant
  • Figure plant gasoline usage and report to storeroom and accounting
  • Complete monthly reports on safety, and fire, for records coordinator
  • Maintain and allocate Maintenance credit card transactions
  • Coordinate and document all trash & special waste dumpsters in plant
  • Maintain ADP for daily attendance and payroll purposes

  • Maintain department files and mail
  • Schedule/track monthly safety meetings
  • Schedule/maintain vacation schedule
  • Order and maintain supplies
  • Assist with all storeroom duties such as inventory management, unloading and delivering parts and equipment
  • Provide administrative support to the plant’s reliability program
  • Provide back up or fill in for the Maintenance Planner when unavailable at the plant. 
  • Provide back up support for warehouse in managing rebuild parts program
  • Deal with vendors when need to ensure rebuilds are on scheduled to be returned to the plant in a timely manner

 

Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience with Excel, Word, SAP, and ADP preferred
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
