Position Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting, critiquing, engaging and expanding US and Canadian Regenerative Agriculture (Regen Ag) programs across Bunge’s trade territory.

 

Core Functions:
•    Communicate with farmer and downstream customers of Bunge on regenerative agriculture principles and outcomes
•    Service farmer customers in areas of contracting regenerative ag acres, explaining protocols and addressing issues in a proactive manner that exceeds expectations and builds strong relationships
•    Communicate with grain merchandising staff, farmers, Nutrien retail agronomists and outcome validators
•    Build relationships with new and existing customers to grow program adoption
•    Coordinate and assist in managing regenerative ag traceability
•    Give input on yearly regenerative ag program structure to achieve desired targets
•    Continue to help build strong relationships with technology providers in the agronomic space
•    Facilitate and assist in the communication and exchange of business information and market conditions between local and corporate management in a timely and accurate manner
•    Organize farmer meetings
•    Assist in coordinating data capture and management
•    Understanding of the various renewable diesel regulatory frameworks in the US and Canada.
•    Check local competition and elevator bid structure ensuring Bunge is competitive
•    Ensure compliance of contracts
•    Train and educate new merchants as needed
•    Lead new and existing Bunge programs and initiatives
•    Perform other duties as assigned

 

Skills/Experience Requirements:
•    Six to ten years of experience in agriculture, natural resources, soil fertility or soil carbon in the US Midwest
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture Economics or related field
•    Demonstrated leadership in communication and collaboration across diverse functional groups to achieve results while maintaining effective relationships is required 
•    Strong interest in agronomy, specifically regenerative agriculture
•    In-depth knowledge of agronomic principles
•    Strong sales knowledge and negotiations skills
•    Ability to lead teams to execute on new initiatives
•    Excellent verbal and written communications skills, specifically in farmer facing situations
•    Excellent customer service skills
