Delphos Meal Operator

Position Summary:

Responsible for soybean processing operations at the Delphos, OH facility, such as shipping, receiving, drying, and storage of beans, and operating equipment to load trucks and rail cars with soybean meal.  Excellent starting pay $24.95 per hour and benefits.    Company paid uniforms, safety shoes, health and safety incentives, and great opportunities for training and advancement.  Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.  This position works a 12-hour shift (2-2-3) schedule on third shift, 5pm-5am. Core Functions:

• Move rail cars following all safety procedures
• Operate meal grinding equipment
• Load and unload trucks and rail cars with soybean meal
• Load outbound oil trucks
• Monitor computers and make process adjustments as necessary
• Process paperwork per department procedures
• Communication process and equipment deficiencies with other operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisors
• Perform cleaning within the department as directed
• Clean silos and bowls in the preparation for harvest
• Work safety and assist coworkers as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skill/Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred
• Ability to follow policies and procedures
• Basic computer and mechanical skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willing to work overtime and flexible hours
• Good attendance
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
