Overview:

This role will be responsible for implementing and optimizing enterprise integration applications by enabling interoperability and communication between multiple IT components. The ideal candidate will have the ability to proficiently deliver technical solutions based on enterprise-scale architectures for complex projects and modern integration design specifications that meet requirements from a business and technical perspective while ensuring adherence to global technology standards and best practices.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Implement cutting-edge enterprise integration solutions, build reusable components, models, and exception handling frameworks​
  • Build large-scale, complex integration solutions to support the expanding needs of different stakeholders in the organization​
  • Devise, modularize, and modernize integration solutions by adopting pub/sub design pattern models and API-lead connectivity solutions​
  • Interact with Projects Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers and stakeholders throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)​
  • Write unit, integration, and functional test automation​
  • Develop high quality, well documented, and efficient  code ​
  • Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions​
  • Build using modern design patterns and architectural principles​
  • Support product owner in defining future stories and tech lead in defining technical designs
  • Design the overall technological architecture of the product
  • Responsible for technical design and infrastructure / environments strategy, including deployments, ensuring  that these are kept in-line with an MVP mindset of ‘emerging architecture’ 
  • Work with the team to help empower and provide the right tools to deliver sprint goals
  • Guide project teams on technology strategy
  • Co-Responsible for the technical design of the product
  • Be hands on to help the team to develop the solution and solve all surfacing problems at hand, identifies and removes technical impediments
  • Work with Product Owner and South America EA Leader to align the roadmap with all strengths and opportunities within the technical stack
  • Constantly looking for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo
  • Provide the team a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices for higher quality
  • Share responsibility with Product Owner for building solutions following BUNGE Best practices (reusable, scalable, etc) 

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Three to Five years of working experience in developing large-scale integration solutions and related technologies ​
  • Expertise in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Business Process Management (BPM) products (TIBCO, MuleSoft, MQ, Kafka/Nifi, etc)​
  • Working experience with Spring, JEE or other well established backend frameworks​
  • Expertise in coding best practices, integration design patterns, exception handling frameworks, and proven integration architectures (pub/sub)​
  • Proficient in maintaining an automated CI/CD pipeline and experienced with related tools (Bamboo, Jenkins)​
  • Good understanding of industry standard protocols and formats (RESTFul, SOAP, XML, JSON, AMQP, JMS, delimited, OAUTH)​
  • Expertise in API and integration layer (API patterns, queues, messaging)​
  • Ability to work with relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL)​
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies​
  • Understand technical best practices to support Agile development​
  • Understanding basics of Scrum methodology, roles, and responsibilities
  • A keen learner within the technical components of the domains/products​
  • Excellent knowledge of latest development technologies​
  • Experience in pair programming, test-driven development, CI/CD, and incremental design​
  • Experience with code refactoring, design patterns, and highly scalable applications

  • Preferred: Knowledge of popular application server platforms (Websphere, JBoss) as well as cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure)
