The Logistics Coordinator will support the Transfer Facility department's logistics function, including, the shipping of full rail cars, daily rail car movement on the Harrowby site, and ordering of empty cars for future rail car and hopper shipments.  Support the SAP PM program and maintenance department in planning and documentation of plant service functions. Receive goods into SAP, check vender statements, work with Capgemini, and service vendors/customers.


Main Functions:

  • Assist the Transfer Facility Supervisor with rail car ordering, positioning to load and shipments and controlling rail service charges for the facility.
  • Provide clerical support for Maintenance Supervisor and Reliability Manager  
  • Maintain the Harrowby SAP PM Module
  • Perform related duties in goods receipts, payables, and inventory adjustments as directed by plant management.
  • Assist in warehouse, as request by management.
  • Meet Corporate Safety Objectives, contribute to plant safety program and follow Company Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Other related duties as may be required, including provide backup coverage for other staff as needed


Required Education/Experience:

  • Completion of an accounting course, business administration or similar.
  • Several years in an office environment or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
