We are growing and looking for a passionate, bold, and driven Shift Engineer! Are you the one?  

What you will be doing in this role Shift Engineer – Izmir Plant

• Controls the intake of oilseeds, chemicals, fuel and so on;
• Responsible for eliminating any problems that may occur in production.
• Supervises and coordinates factory employees work in accordance with work subject area.
• Responsible for taking samples in accordance with quality plans and instructions during production.
• Responsible for taking samples from by-products and final products in accordance with control plans.
• Responsible for ensuring intermediate product and final product standards at every stage of production.
• Finds solutions to technical problems encountered in the facility or carries out the necessary coordination and activities to find solutions.
• Detects bottlenecks in production. It carries out development studies to increase production and reduce costs and puts the approved studies into practice.
• Responsible for the most efficient and economical use of all facilities, machinery, equipment and vehicles under their responsibility.
• Ensure that the units under their responsibility are always clean and tidy; It ensures that the machinery, equipment, tools and equipment in the facilities are used and protected appropriately.
• Responsible for reporting any malfunctions or requested maintenance work via the SAP system.
• Responsible for ensuring occupational safety in the units
• To identify the devices or equipment that build energy that are used unnecessarily in the relevant department and report them to the relevant supervisor.
• Chipping in to the achievement of factory general goals through field studies by using problem-solving techniques such as Root-Cause analysis, 5 Whys or Fishbone.
• Playing an active role and participating in global continuous improvement programs such as BMOS (Bunge Operational Management System), BPS (Bunge Production System), WPO (Business Process Optimization)
• Implementation, maintenance and updating of the Food Safety Management System
• To ensure compliance with Environmental Management System conditions in the units under its responsibility.
• Provides leadership to ensure that employees reporting to them align with Environmental Management System conditions.

What do we expect from our future colleague 

• University degree in Engineering or another related field; 
• 2- 4 years of experience in a similar role;
• Proficient English & Turkish are a must;
• Ability to understand and adapt to the local culture and business environment for the region assigned; 
• Excellent partnership with other departments; 
• Driven and ambition person with a proactive attitude.
