What You Will Be Doing As An Operational Procurement Lead


The core focus of this role is to manage country procurement team and processes to ensure alignment between partners, global & regional teams on delivering competitive advantage for Bunge.


This will be done through the following activities:


  • Managing the country’s Procurement team in order to support the Regional & Global category strategy development and initiative execution
  • Coordinating sourcing strategies development and contract implementation for process optimization
  • Handling internal customer and supplier relationships on country level.
  • Ensuring compliance to Procurement Policy and standards on local level
  • Project procurement partnering for the major CAPEX projects
  • Collaborating and driving the Global Procurement Transformation programs
  • Directing the implementation of such global initiatives to local scope.


The position is based in Kiev and you will be part of a team of 10 people that report to our Procurement Lead based in Barcelona.

The role is fully remote for the time being.


What do we expect from our future colleague?


  • At least 8 years of previous experience in a similar position
  • 4+ years of experience in managing procurement teams
  • High education in Finance/Legal/Engineering
  • Knowledge of ERP systems ways of working and set up for procurement flows (e.g. SAP, CAPEX)
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial management abilities
  • Ability to work with various types of people
  • High level analytical skills
