As an addition for our facility in Mannheim, we are looking for an

Environmental Manager (m/f/d) 

Your main tasks:

• To implement the procedures needed to guarantee full legal compliance on environmental aspects.
• To lead the implementation of BPS environmental requirements in the plant, maintaining this implementation all the time
• To identify environmental weaknesses and main priorities and necessities related with the BPS environmental Pillar.
• To contribute to Bunge Environment Policy implementation.
• To propose and coordinate Environmental goals and targets as Action Plans for Mannheim plant.
• To participate in the BEA Environmental network calls and meetings
• To organize knowledge exchange, environmental training and info sharing inside the plant.
• To establish and monitor the Environmental Performance Indicators releasing, on a regular basis, Environment reports in accordance with corporate requirements.
• To train and engage the plant departments in the corporate environmental actions and initiatives.
• To perform plant inspections and environmental audits defining action plans for correction of deviations detected
• To coordinate plant reporting for environmental legal matters and requirements (CO2, EPER, dust and hexane emission, noise, waste management, Environmental Costs and investments, etc…)
• To investigate environmental incidents and accidents • To lead and control the good management of wastewater treatment plant

Your knowledge and experience:

• Degree in Environmental Management or similar
• Qualification as sustainability and Climate manager is a plus
• Good knowledge of operational processes
• Very good communication skills
• Fluent in German and very good English language knowledge
• Hands- on mentality, as well as team-oriented and structured personality
