What you will be doing as a Scheduler:

  • Key contact and confidant between the maintenance department and other areas of the factory. Ensures that their area of operations receives timely, efficient and quality service and ensures that the maintenance area receives what it needs to provide services.
  • Checks that all parts, materials and tools are available to carry out the work before scheduling it.
  • Be aware of preventive maintenance work in each area to better schedule work in that area.
  • Review the scheduling status of the day and forecast the availability of personnel daily.
  • When selecting the works to be scheduled, it is essential to take into account the deadlines set by the claimants and the preventive maintenance schedules. If a work cannot be scheduled within the priority and timeframe, the claimant's area manager and all concerned should be advised immediately so that the work can be rescheduled.
  • Distributes approved schedules with associated work orders and other planning documents to area managers. Reconciles "design packages" as necessary and reviews future work, taking into account special instructions and other important matters as applicable in the execution of the work.
  • Ensures the flow of completed schedules and work orders through tracking.
  • Makes recommendations to operations on long-term maintenance needs and, in collaboration with production, prepares a weekly forecast of the next week's expected work. If necessary, requires work orders for further "minor" preventive work that does not require planning, in order to prevent future major repairs.
  • Keeps the Maintenance Manager informed of any abnormal or critical situation and seeks advice when the problem is beyond their knowledge or competence.
  • Make suggestions to improve the system.
  • Carrying out other works and tasks assigned by the Reliability Manager and Maintenance Manager.
  • To perform other work related to the job but not listed here, as advised by the supervisor.

What do we expect from our future colleague:

  • 3+ years related experience as a technical engineer.
  • Proficient English and Hungarian skills;
  • Strong attention to details and analytical skills;
  • SAP knowledge - at least medium level;
  • MS office knowledge - intermediate level.

What can you expect from Bunge?
