Role Purpose Statement 

This position supports Bunge China EHS Director to ensure global safety & IH programs are implemented properly in Bunge China plants. Develop and maintain Bunge China safety & IH procedures. Participate in Bunge China safety & IH audits and track plants to close improvement actions with good quality. Drive plants to meet regulation requirements, etc.

 

Main Accountabilities 

1. Support China EHS Director to drive China plants to implement global safety & IH programs properly.

2. Lead or coordinate such safety audits as BGSMS, BPS, HPE, SIF Prevention, PSM and KPA and so on from China perspective to help plants with solid safety performance.

3. Track actions in each plant closely from above audits to ensure proper closure with good quality.

4. Develop, review and maintain China safety & IH procedures according to local regulations and global requirements.

5. To be as administrator of Process Map from Asia perspective and manage monthly safety statistics data.

6. Support plants to have great reporting culture on incidents, NMs, hazards observation, STOP stories, etc.

7. Drive plants to improve RCA quality of incidents investigation.

8. Work with plants to improve lesson learning practices, such as develop lesson learning materials, share best practice, etc.

9. Review safety regulations and track corrective actions to ensure full compliance.

 

Education/Experience 

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Safety, engineering, environment, mechanic, etc.

2. At least has 10 years working experience in manufactory and 5 years working experience in EHS field.

3. Good English with oral and writing.

4. Good leadership and teamwork.
