The Production Support Specialist role will support the local Plant Administration Supervisor and team. Responsibilities include data entry into tracking systems and plant spreadsheets, providing accounting inputs for month end accounting closes, and supporting other local plant administrative processes. This position will provide information on to the Accounting Hub or support functions such as, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). The position will report to the local Plant Administration Supervisor.

Core Functions:

  • Support the Plant Administration Supervisor with tasks related to daily plant activity.
  • Manage KPI’s related to Production, Quality, Safety and Environment, to support production team and management.
  • Maintain numerous Excel spreadsheets and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
  • Assist with the daily data entry and inventory reconciliations, as needed.
  • Monitor accuracy of GL account entries.
  • Support Procurement/Maintenance by tracking invoices and log sheets, as required.
  • Administer key cards via security system.
  • Provide back up support for payroll and other areas, as determined.
  • Filing as required.
  • Month end reporting tasks for administration and commercial group.
  • Provide office support through cross-training and vacation coverage.
  • Complete miscellaneous report requirements and respond to adhoc information requests.
  • Assist with special projects, as required.
  • Ability to work overtime as requested.
  • Perform any other related duties, as required.


Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma; College diploma preferred.
  • Experience or exposure to agribusiness activities and related transactions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
