Position Summary:
Lead Bunge’s efforts to profitably grow business with global accounts based regionally in Canada through category leadership which supports customer’s growth.  

Core Functions:

  • Work as a team with VP Sales, Global Customer Team and Regional support teams to develop and grow the domestic business for identified Global accounts for Bunge Loders Croklaan
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute category management initiatives at the local / divisional level with particular focus on driving pull through sales of value-added products
  • Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, in marketing, product development and product management to provide effective category management strategies
  • Develop relationships with the customer’s key leaders in general management, procurement, marketing and merchandising at both the corporate and divisional level
  • Connect other Bunge team members in applications, R&D & marketing to key customers to create a differentiated customer experience which drives value added growth
  • Develop and execute customer development plans aimed at building long-term partnerships with our national/regional partners
  • Drive customer focus by being the voice of your customers within the broader Bunge Loders Croklaan organization
  • Perform standard account management tasks such as customer insight gathering, price intelligence, forecasting, customer development planning, customer service delivery, and contract / price management among others
  • Trade show participation
  • Utilization of internal customer management platforms

 

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, MBA and asset
  • 10 years of sales leadership, account management experience or related industry experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers, senior management, peers, and subordinates
  • Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of the market and prepares and delivers on account plans based on market knowledge
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to prepare and execute effective sales strategies
  • Excellent negotiation skils
  • Experience operating in a cross functional organization
  • Experience with solution selling methodologies
  •  Strong proficiency in office productivity and CRM software
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of agricultural commodities and asset.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
