BUNGE has an exciting opportunity available for a Reliability Manager. In this role, you will improve reliability of the physical assets by eliminating unscheduled failures. This is done through development of a sound proactive maintenance strategy, analysis of failure causes, recommending design enhancements, and developing improved repair methods.

More on the Reliability Manager:

 

Our future colleague will be responsible for the reliability of all equipment in the area to which he / she is assigned. He / She will also maintain appropriate records and files to permit important analysis and reporting of results or completed works.

 

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

 

  • Ensures Bunge Maintenance Standards are fully implemented and functioning.
  • Ensures to follow the guidance and the implementation of BPS, Bunge Production System, Pillar “Asset Care”.
  • Has a thorough understanding of the Potential-Failure Curve and relationship to setting maintenance activity frequencies.
  • Assists in the development of long-range asset management schedules and budgets.
  • Educates other employees about reliability engineering and local reliability implementation.
  • Reviews predictive maintenance activities, recommends changes to the type of monitoring, routes, frequencies and equipment monitored.
  • Collaborates with Predictive technology specialists, external and/or internal to optimize the scope and the analysis.
  • Maintains the PM (Preventive Maintenance) system and process within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Maintain CMMS updated (PM and PdM maintenance plans, assets BOM, notifications and work orders creation).
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving the reliability of the manufacturing processes.
  • Maintains or monitors asset downtime database with focus on monitoring unscheduled downtime on key process equipment’s.
  • Maintains asset criticality lists.
  • Maintains spare parts criticality lists.
  • Responsible for MRP, material requirements planning developping.
  • Monitor the execution and effectiveness of lubrication programs.
  • Maintains progress list of improvement projects.
  • Evaluates the cost/benefit of all new diagnostic technologies.
  • Communicates the key asset management performance indicators as well as the company’s KPIs (Key Process Indicators).
  • Leading planning and scheduling team.
  • Works closely with the Maintenance and Operations Departments in performing RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) and asset management improvement.
  • Generates downtime analysis reports and performs Pareto Analysis on results.
  • Uses Pareto Analysis to find opportunities and prioritize improvement efforts.
  • Ensures that all department works performed is done in a safe manner and that all work areas are maintained to meet or exceed all safety rules, as well as all local, state or province and federal safety and environmental laws and regulatory acts.

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

 

  • BS/MS degree in Engineering, Mechanics or Mathematics.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in similar position.
  • Good data management and analysis skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Italian are required.
  • Strong plant background.
  • Vibration Analysis, Category II, ISO 18436-2.
  • Ultrasound, Category I, ISO 18436-8.
  • Infrared Thermography, Category I, ISO 18436-7.
  • CMRP, Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional is a plus.
  • ICML - MLT1, Machine Lubrication Technician Level 1 is a plus.
