HR Generalist part-time (22-30 hrs a week)

The role of HR Generalist 
In the role of HR Generalist you will be supporting the HR Manager with all HR related matters, such as:
Supporting the employees and people leaders in employment lifecycle matters to ensure consistent development of people practices, keeping the information and guidelines up to date.

We use an external party for our payroll, but you will be the main payroll contact person (questions, calculations, prepare payroll data, etc). Apart from payrolling you will also be responsible for managing the employee benefit administration and the timekeeping system. 
Furthermore you take part in recruiting and employer branding. 

Supporting the delivery of the training programs on a local level will also be part of your role and in general having the overall responsibility for the local internal communication. E.g. coordinating newsletters, organizational updates, townhalls, employee events and maintaining the intranet.

During absence or holidays of the HR Manager you will step up and act as HR Business partner. We are therefore looking for a candidate who has the confidence and ambition to do this. 

What do you bring to the role?
•    Bachelor or University degree in HR / Applied Sciences / Business / Arts or 5+ years of experience in a similar HR position;
•    2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably within an industrial international company; 
•    An understanding of payroll processes, compensation and benefits and knowledge of Finnish employment laws and regulations;
•    Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is beneficial; Good IT tech skills are essential (MS Office applications, Excel, SharePoint);
•    Excellent written and oral English and Finnish language skills;
•    Available for 22-30 hours a week (3 or 4 days);
