The role:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to ensure all company activities comply with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. This role will oversee the local accounting team, design transaction flows, and maintain compliance with statutory and tax obligations. Monthly participation in financial closing and reporting accuracy is expected.

Some further responsibilities will be:

• Design and maintain processes for legal and policy compliance.
• Certify the accuracy of the Balance Sheet and financial reports.
• Collaborate with teams to reconcile commercial P&L with SAP records.
• Serve as a Center of Excellence (COE) for finance and operations queries.
• Lead meetings with tax, social insurance, and audit bodies.
• Oversee statutory audits, tax examinations, and related preparations.
• Accountability for the full local Balance Sheet
• Manage non-commercial budgets and reporting.

• Manage financial operations for Bunge in KSA: you will have a significant role in shaping the local financial strategy and we will rely on your insights.
• Supervise a team of 3-4 direct reports

Is this you?

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
• An experienced Financial Controller (more than 8 years of proven experience).
• Good hands-on experience in commodity accounting and related reporting is a plus (more than 5 years of experience is preferable).
• Proficiency in SAP would be great, other ERP system knowledge is welcome. Microsoft Office applications proficiency is a must, especially Excel.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Residing in the region of Riyadh.
• Attention to detail, accurate, disciplined, and eager to learn.
• Team-worker, collaborator, good social intelligence and strong leadership skills.
• A passion for excellence and a drive to make a difference.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
