BFS FX Controller

Herewith, the controlling department plays a crucial role in ensuring that the numbers of our businesses are accurately and correctly reported.   

In the role of Bunge Financial Services (BFS) Foreign Exchange (FX) Controller, you will work closely with the Controlling team to ensure that all BFS FX accounting and reporting is accurate, complete, timely and relevant. Most importantly, you will maintain a strong control environment and champion effective and efficient management, FX processes and systems within Bunge. 
 
More on the role: 
As our FX Controller, you will work closely with Bunge's Reporting Line Director, Financial Services Controlling & Middle and Back office. With your distinct ability to ''roll up your sleeves'' and get things done, we expect you to you take initiative and show your teamwork/interpersonal skills whilst coordinating around different internal stakeholders (BFS FX Commercial Management and traders, Accounting and Controlling teams and Corporate Risk department). You will report directly into Director Financial Services Controlling, Middle and Back Office.

Additionally, you will: 

• Assist in the monthly BFS FX reporting process ensuring that all numbers reconcile to US GAAP, risk, and system numbers;
• Assist in the monthly BFS FX forecast requirements;
• Act as a backup to the month end closing process in relation to pricing data, static data and deal updates;
• Be involved in new system developments in FX area and other ad hoc special projects.

 
What we would like to see in your CV: 

• Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent financial qualification;
• English is a must, all other languages such as Dutch, French or Spanish are a plus; 
• Expertise in treasury, accounting, derivatives and controlling acquired in a similar international company;
• Strong IT skills (Excel), bond systems, automatization and similar.
