Overview:
We are looking for a Scrum Master to join the Agile Center of Excellence team in the Business Technology (BT) organization. The Scrum Master will be helping Product Owners, Scrum Developers and business stakeholders to understand framework and to work according to its rules. The role enables delivery of complex solutions and products, organizes the Scrum process, foster teamwork as well as facilities all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives. The Scrum Master will be also supporting Product Owner and Scrum Developers in building and refining Product and Sprint Backlog, as well as in understanding and resolution of development roadblocks.


Essential Functions:

  • Work with Product Owners and Scrum Developers to define and refine Product and Sprint Backlogs 
  • Coach Scrum Developers in self-organization and cross-functionality, help remove impediments to team’s delivery 
  • Work with the group of Scrum Masters and Product Owners to exchange experiences, build standards and best practices of the Scrum in the organization
  • Coach the Scrum Team and stakeholders in its Scrum adoption, help understand agile, empirical software product development 
  • Manage Scrum framework, facilitate Scrum events and help coordinate activities between multiple Scrum Teams 
  • Foster internal and external team collaboration with other teams, end users and subject matter experts 
  • Help accept and embrace the change as opportunity and competitive advantage for the organization 
  • Measure, manage and communicate Scrum metrics to Scrum Team members 
  • Create continuous improvement culture and support Scrum Team development needs 
  • Identify and help to develop Scrum Team technical and soft skills and competencies 
  • Accountable for the results of teams working on a large and/or moderately complex project(s).
  • Provides input on resource planning and processes development.

  • Contributes to and recommends policies and processes

  • Work with stakeholders and managers to make sure correct framework implementation and roadblocks removal
  • Impacts organization culture by promoting continuous improvement
  • Supports teams development needs 
  • Foster internal and external team collaboration with other teams, end users and subject matter experts 
  • Decides tools and practices to be used within development framework being used
  • Manages processes working independently with limited supervision
  • Provides leadership to professionals and/or support staff. 
  • Follow specific functional policy and broad procedure allowing the choice of tactics to reach the establish goals.  
  • Contributes to short to midterm (1-3 years) talent optimization plans 
  • Monitors teams efficiency, proposes improvements and communicates results

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, with 3 - 5 years of position related experience, preferred in Business and Management, Organization, Leadership, Computer Science, Social Science or related field is required, or equivalent combo of education and experience level
  • 3+ years of experience as Scrum Master required
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certificate required 
  • Strong communication (in Polish and English) and presentation skills
  • Proven experience working with at least three different teams
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certificate required 
  • Ability to work with, manage and lead Scrum Teams on complex projects 
  • Ability to analyze, think quickly and to manage conflicts 
  • Proficient use of project management, knowledge base and collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, MS SharePoint & Teams one
  • Strong interpersonal, people management and mentoring skills 
  • Ability to motivate and support to overcome difficulties of complex and changing environment 
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks other than Scrum is not needed but very welcomed
