More on the Manager Capex Budget:

 

Our future colleague will lead cost estimation, data collection, analysis and benchmarking for projects to ensure high accuracy during various phases of project management with key focus on safety, sustainability, efficiency & reliability.

 

Some other main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Define cost estimate scope boundaries with minimum mandatory requirement and phased investment options. Develop cost engineering element’s structure and budget estimate for various options.
  • Define procurement process and timelines to manage the overall schedule. Collect, review and monitor data from various sources, finalize cost estimates and create Power BI dashboards with ease of access to various stakeholders.
  • Provide financial reporting, data trends, comparison statements and support in RFP/RFQ process. Define contingency budget through analytical tools.
  • Lead conceptual engineering estimate studies with quick turnaround time. Proficiency of new technologies and computer programs to support cost estimations.
  • Experienced in global standards like ISO-9001, ASTM E2516-11, ICMS etc…
  • Support the preparation of commitments/estimates for approval by organizing the basic and detail cost estimation depending on the complexity of the project and contribution in depth knowledge with other technical departments.
  • Preparation of costing benchmarks, estimation files, define procurement strategy with clear logical approach. Preparation of check list and standard operating procedures.
  • Vendor Co-ordination, Bid Evaluation, comparison, and review of vendor’s quotes
  • Onsite & Offshore co-ordination. Project review meetings to address design challenges and drive value engineering.
  • Ensure that projects are executed in line with Bunge Best Practices, policies, guidelines, national and international norms and standards.
  • Ensure that these Bunge best practices, policies and guidelines are kept up to date with lessons learned and experiences from the project.

 

 

We are looking for different skills in our ideal candidate:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical/Civil Engineer.
  • +/- 12 years of experience in cost engineering/estimation/planning function for Food/Feed/FMCG projects.
  • Project Planning, Analysis, Scheduling & financial accounting.
  • Team Management.
  • Must have good knowledge of GMP and food Industry hygiene standards.
  • Able to work with project tools (MS Project, MS Excel, Power BI, WBS, Project tracking systems, excel based calculation tools etc.)
  • Technical awareness about engineering/ industrial design & specifications of key equipment.
  • Civil/electrical/automation/mechanical terminology basic appreciation and understanding of applicable national and international norms and regulations (Specially Europe & North America).
