Summary:

Perform the functions of programming, setting up graphics, communication links, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects in the facility. Responsible for documenting point to point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close out requirements. Keep current on Bunge projects concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.

 Essential Functions:

  • Follow established safety and GMP procedures.
  • Follow quality policies and procedures.
  • Understand requirements for all on-site installation of electrical devices.
  • Assembly, installation, testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems for custom manufacturing equipment.
  • Follow electrical diagrams and P&ID’s for completion of job tasks.
  • Flexible schedule required to support various activities.
  • Perform other duties and functions as needed by the Maintenance Manager or Reliability Supervisor.

 Qualified Candidate must have:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC/Controls preferred. Technical school or formal training is preferred.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley / Rockwell PLC's is required.
  • Experience in industrial automation is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting equipment failure skills.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Practical knowledge on the operation/use of general hand and power tools, instruments, and testing apparatus common to the electrical, electronic, and instrumental fields.
  • Ability to read P&ID’s electrical drawings, blueprints, etc.
  • Must have knowledge installing, repairing, and maintaining instrumentation, automation, electronic, single phase, and all aspects pf 3-phaswe electrical equipment throughout a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to communicate both in writing and verbally and work in a highly effective team environment.

  • Hazmat Training

 Physical Demands:

  • Work in confining environments under / over equipment.
  • Ability to reach, bend, kneel, climb while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
