In this role you will coordinate and deliver a wide variety of training solutions for Bunge’s Europe & Asia teams. You will have responsibility for training facilitation, content development, scheduling, resource planning and program evaluation assessment.

Note: you are ideally located in Barcelona to obtain this job, however, we will also consider other relocations.


More on the HR Workforce Training & Development Manager role:


Candidate will partner with the HR Business Partner team to assess and recommend training needs, actively participate in the implementation of industrial development programs and processes within the business. Managing all aspects of Europe & Asia front-line supervisor and industrial operations management training programs, including scheduling, training facilitation, securing speakers / participants and workshop facilities when necessary. Within this role, you will also have the following responsibilities:

• Develop/deliver specific training and development programs, supporting the plants as a center of expertise in the realization of training programs, contributing to the review of models, tools, best market practices, as well as manage and monitor the budget annual training plan in close collaboration with the finance teams.

• Connect with local and regional subject matter experts to identify and develop best practices and training materials for the pillar elements. Participate and contribute to the Global Pillar Teams.

• Set up regular Regional Pillar calls with local site Pillar Leaders to provide training and coaching – involving subject matter experts when necessary. Assist site Pillar Leaders in facility self-assessments and validate pillar level completion.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, continuous improvement and industrial leadership regarding training needs. Implement initiatives and help integrating the systems and workflows in order to continuously improve and modernize the training and development model. As needed, develop a sub-region or business unit network of Pillar Leaders to cover all sites and value chains.


We are looking for different skills sets/aspects in our ideal candidate:


As an HR Worforce Training & Development Manager, you will oversee training budget optimization and efficiency, focusing on results with a high level of initiative and attention to detail. You will demonstrate ability to manage and deliver on multiple requests and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Also, you will bring a strategic thinking and planning, taking care of performance & development of the Early Talent Programs. Additionally, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education or a related field required.
• English and another European language is required; excellent verbal, written and listening skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

• +5 years of training and development experience within a corporate or plant/manufacturing environment, including training facilitation required.
• Demonstrated training facilitation skills, preferably within an industrial environment. Team oriented with a demonstrated ability to successfully work within a matrix organization.
• DDI Trainer Certification preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.


For this role you will need to bring a driving personality with an agrobusiness training background. You are able to establish relationships and build bridges between departments, industrial plants and geographies. A structured approach is core to your personality, and you are leading and ensuring a high quality of work delivered by third parties.
