Trading Analyst

The role is responsible in supporting the South-East Asia Value Chain for Soybean Meal and corn in trading and distribution activities through contract administration, pipeline logistics management, risk management and decision support tools. The role is the entry level role in Bunge Singapore Regional Trading team.

Decision Support

• Daily reporting of cash, futures and freight positions and PNL’s as per stipulated internal reporting guidelines, timelines and reporting formats
• Periodic reconcile of risk positions & PNL (cash/futures/freight) with multiple stakeholders like FPNA, Finance, freight and execution, logistics and commercial teams
• Daily / periodic reporting of decision tools like daily replacement prices, weekly open demand and monthly efficiency trackers
• Month end closing support to Finance and FPNA

Contract Administration

• Contract administration support to the marketing teams through effective liaison with commercial teams, customers and Bunge Business Services team in Mohali, India
• Manage contract terms, costings, origins allocation etc. on real time basis for timely and accurately capturing the positions and PNL Instruct contract amendment from Marketing Manager in destination office for contract terms such as shipment period, counterparty, costing and load/disport etc.
• Assist commercial team in coordination with credit team, finance, legal etc. in setting up new counter parties, commercial terms (credit/risk limits) for the customers

Pipeline Efficiency Management

• Responsible for maximizing contact tolerance efficiencies through over/under filling decisions on purchase and sale contracts in close coordination with the logistics & commercial leads

• Manage the futures positions related to over/under filling decisions in close coordination with the commercial leads
• Assist commercial leads in Asia pipeline management in close coordination with logistics, freight, origins and Geneva

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years’ experience in the Agri-commodity industry
• Experienced in Trading execution or Trade accounting is preferred
• Team player and good communication skills
• Ability to work in high stress environment
• Highly proficient in excel skills
