Overview: 

We are looking for an experienced IT professional to join the Data & Analytics team in the Business Technology (BT) organization. The Data & Cloud Platforms and Solutions Lead will be responsible for ensuring effective operations and delivery of data and cloud offerings. As a senior leadership position, this role is accountable for leading, managing and promoting all aspects of the Data & Cloud Platforms team, ensuring smooth and effective delivery of platform services. 

Essential Functions: 

• Manage cloud/data operational teams responsible for operating platforms and shared services 

• Engage with key technology leaders to understand, prioritize, and deliver the cloud/data platforms and tools that are needed by the organization 

• Build business case for tool procurement and implementation of new processes 

• Identify and monitor platform level operational KPIs and metrics for analysis, and report metrics to BT executives 

• Oversee development of self-service cloud tooling for teams, including the ability to ramp up and down cloud needs based on usage 

• Oversee development and management of data infrastructure (e.g., data lake) for improved data accessibility 

• Define a target state enterprise data architecture, data strategy and review and approve significant architectural changes 

• Define data management operational processes (e.g., data quality measurement) in accordance with policies and standards, clearly articulating roles and responsibilities 

Requirements: 

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 

• 10+ years of experience as a cloud and/or data infrastructure leader 

• 5+ years of experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of a large-scale organization in the Cloud 

• Deep knowledge of a typical data ecosystem at an agricultural or industrial player 

• Demonstrated ability to engage cross-functional teams across Cloud and data engineering
