Overview

Scrum Master supports the Developers and Product Owner in delivering incremental value each sprint for the products. Responsibilities include educating others on Scrum Values, facilitating the scrum process, protecting the team from interference and removing obstacles so that the team can deliver the sprint goal. The Scrum Master creates a safe working environment for the team and is an innovator who constantly seeks continuous improvement and builds higher performing teams. A primary responsibility of this role is to create an environment enabling the team to become self-organizing and self-managing in achieving its goals.

 

Responsibilites:

  • Work with Product Owner and Developers on clarifying the requirements and defining detailed Product Backlog Items​
  • Look for ways to strengthen teams understanding of Scrum concepts and principles, help to understand empirical software product development ​
  • Ensure teams actions are aligned with the sprint goals / product vision ​
  • Foster a continuous learning environment to help teams to inspect & adapt​
  • Bring transparency to Business and IT organization about development and grow trust  ​
  • Remove impediments and manage conflicts ​
  • Create continuous improvement culture and support teams' development needs

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience with Scrum​
  • “Professional Scrum Master I” certificate or higher
  • Practice with teams and stakeholders with no Scrum experience​
  • Support Scrum Teams working on software delivery in constraining environment with multiple dependencies 
  • Strong communication skills – Able to propagate information promptly, clearly, and unambiguously​
  • Experienced in assessing how the team is doing and drive necessary actions to improve​
  • Able to develop and foster teamwork and facilitate team dynamics​
  • Problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to coach and mentor all roles in a Scrum team​
  • Skilled in building relationships and navigating through organizations​
  • Technical experience working with various technology stacks would be welcomed​
  • Resistance to stress 
  • Passionate about Scrum but with patient attitude towards people and processes ​
  • Assertive, with the confidence – not afraid to do what is best for the team​
  • Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace
