Accounting & Reporting Executive

You will play a meaningful role in the end-to-end process of record to report of Bunge Loders Croklaan and supporting the BBS team in Mohali with their operational tasks. Furthermore, you will ensure the correctness and completeness of the periodical financial information (balance sheet, P&L and cash flow) in accordance with applicable accounting rules and coherence to applicable internal controls (e.g., Sox compliance). Also, you will lead the AP/AR team in Mohali and manage treasury activities like securitization program, internal loans and bank balances.

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end closing related general ledger activity, including fixed assets (control additions, disposals and transfers & manage periodic asset depreciation), monthly accruals / prepayments, payroll entries and revaluations
• Work closely with other units to ensure accruals and all other balances are accurate and complete
• Perform balance sheet account analysis on daily basis
• Prepare upload files for reporting into the global consolidation system and manage queries from Finance Global team with support of manager
• Assist with annual/quarterly audit by preparing required schedules and interacting directly with the internal/external auditors
• Perform assigned internal control/SOX activities

To be successful as an Accounting & Reporting Executive, we would like you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field or equivalent experience
• A few years of relevant accounting knowledge
• Pro-active, detail oriented and able to work with deadlines
• Preferable experience with a consolidation system
• Good Microsoft office (Excel) skills and understanding of SAP
• Good communication skills and proficient in English; Dutch is preferred
• Experience in project management gives you a head start
