About 50% of your time you will be in contact with a broad range of customers producing Chocolate, Confectionary, Bakery and Plant-based Food Solutions in the UK, Ireland & Nordic region. In ‘normal’ times you will be traveling regularly to visit customers for project and portfolio updates or to assist at line trials. As the technical part of the Sales Manager, you are typically the person in contact with our own Innovation and Quality teams, and with our customers’ R&D and Quality departments to make sure we create the right products and samples for our customers.

The other part of your time you are driving your projects with the internal organization, developing and proving solutions with the lab teams, preparing co-creation sessions with Marketing and the application leads. As technical expert on our product you also engage with our customers by organizing customer workshops and trainings, represent Bunge Loders Croklaan at exhibitions and fairs, support building product USPs in application, and you build and maintain presence and visibility in the local technical community and network, e.g. by participating in expert groups, advisory boards to technical institutions.
